Installation

  1. Drill a 13mm hole into the gate and a corresponding hole in the post, 30–50mm above or below the top hinge.

  2. Slot the restrainer’s end stops into the holes.

  3. Insert the plastic bushes to protect the gate and allow smooth wire movement.


Conditions of Use:

  • Inspect restrainer every 6 months and replace if worn or damaged.

  • Device prevents sideways fall, not full gate weight.

  • If the gate does not rest on the ground before the restrainer becomes taut, this device is unsuitable.
