This weatherproof stainless steel electromagnetic lock is designed for external access control installations where resistance to the elements is required. Its stainless steel construction and integrated 20mm male conduit fitting make it suitable for outdoor environments such as gates, perimeter entrances and external doors.
The lock operates on either 12Vdc or 24Vdc, providing flexibility for new installations and system upgrades. A fail-safe operating mode means the lock releases when power is removed, making it suitable for applications that require emergency egress in accordance with system design requirements.
An integrated lock monitoring output provides SPDT status contacts for connection to access control or building management systems, while the anti-residual magnetism feature helps ensure reliable door release after power is removed. The lock can be installed using either side or face fixing options to suit different mounting configurations.
